CERSAIE 2021 Pavilion for Italcer

Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas present their installation for Gruppo Italcer (La Fabbrica – Ava) on the occasion of CERSAIE 2021 in Bologna, Italy.
The pavilion, located on the main boulevard of the fair, looks like a large black envelope invaded by street art works. The material brushstrokes of colour on the external panels reproduce the names of the brands on display through a spontaneous gesture, drawing visitors into an experience of discovery.
A 400 sqm open space that forgets the classic concept of a museum, presenting the group’s new collections in a dynamic space free of functional partitions. The irregular, fragmented internal perimeter walls define the geometry of the display, recalling the shape of a diamond and the many possible uses of ceramics.
