Biennale of Venice 2008, Kensington Gardens installation
Venice
Home, container, refuge, a space where life takes place .A man and a woman meet each other: they look each other, they speak, they eat, they see friends…they love each other.
They eat a lot, they drink, they overstock food and tableware, making a lot of waste. At they shoulders, a big tv screen is showing news. A dog is rummaging into rubbish.
Into the 3 green boxes, traslucent, light and sexy, stories of daily life repeating time again and again, a baby assures continuity.. They are sperimental houses, but easy to get ready, setting up into the corderie in Venice – that whenever necessary, they can be moved to any other space, anywhere it might happen an emergency .
That is what “Out there: Architecture Beyond Building” means to us : beyond building , the human being ..life and its contraddiction.
