The artificial light, generated from the inside of a building and not the outside, has always been a major factor in our architecture. At night, buildings are similar to lamps that light up as if by magic.”

Studio Fuksas product design has always been closely tied to its architectural projects and design philosophy. It is a complementary commitment. Each project and each design is the end result of the same research, conducted on different scales, for its entire design range from architecture to individual products.
For the New Rome-EUR Convention Centre in Rome, the studio has designed a new luminaire for iGuzzini called Nuvola or Cloud.
This elegant device has a simple form consisting of two separate and diametrically opposed sections suspended from fine steel wires.
