Wendy Bench

Doriana and Massimiliano Fuksas designed WENDY bench in collaboration with URBO.

The highly indeterminate geometry generates a unique surface that transforms from a seat to a backrest, making the object a true sculpture to be assembled.

Designed to be placed like an infinitely modular puzzle in the urban landscape, it is a manifesto dedicated to nature, the only cosmos that generates life, with backrests that recall the natural dunes of a desert.

Wendy is made using a partial injection mould of cement and fibreglass, made from a high-density polystyrene negative, then polished and finished in white Carrara marble powder.
