FUKSAS and ROME – interview on Corriere della Sera Roma
Massimiliano Fuksas was interviewed by journalist Paolo Conti on today’s issue of Corriere della Sera – Edizione Roma.
In the interview, Mr. Fuksas recounts some of the milestones of his life and career. From the 1968’ student struggles at the Faculty of Valle Giulia to current projects and his working relationship with Doriana Fuksas. And then Rome, his city, and the new challenges that Italy will be facing with the new government.
To the question: “What is good architecture for?” Massimiliano Fuksas answers: “Architecture makes people live better, to bring people together, to reshape their relationships. For years, the crisis of parties and unions has been evident. A rebirth of politics can only come from below, from the cities, from the territories….”
