The “non-hospital”, Massimiliano Fuksas at Agorà Rai Tre

Massimiliano Fuksas participated in the morning program Agorà, presented by Serena Bortone on Rai3, speaking about Studio Fuksas’ new project of a “non-hospital”.

“In this historical moment of serious health emergency, considering the continuous events and the numerous deaths that are now unfortunately happening, we have begun to reflect on a new housing module, a building as an integral part of the protection of our health, and especially that of the elderly. A dwelling that becomes the first health care facility with a series of features and equipment to be provided during construction, such as telemedicine kits, medical devices for measuring blood saturation, temperature measurement, etc.. A second phase should provide the possibility to put in place the isolation of a sick person inside his/her own home thinking about environments that ensure the same security that they would have at the hospital. The third phase foresees, finally, to think of a module for the transport of the sick person, or presumed sick, in complete safety. A transport module can be aggregated in adjacent and nearby areas and not directly in the hospital”.
