European Tower, Hérouville-Saint-Clair, France

Massimiliano Fuksas was commissioned by the Société Centrale Immobilière de la Caisse des Dépôts Assistance à la Maîtrise d’Ouvrage (SCIC AMO) to lead the project for the European Tower of Hérouville-Saint-Clair (1986) which was the product of a a highly conceptual operation that assembled parts conceived separately with three fellow architects, Nouvel, Alsop and Steidle, into a single architectural whole.

The European Tower is a multifunctional and multiform tower, never built, 100 meters high which houses hotels, offices and commercial areas.
