多莉安娜·曼德雷利·福克萨斯出生于罗马，1979年毕业于罗马一大现代和当代建筑史专业，并获得巴黎建筑专业学院建筑学位。多莉安娜曾于罗马一大文学艺术学院艺术史研究所及罗马大学建筑学院工业设计系（ITACA）从事教学活动。2000年，她为“第七届国际威尼斯建筑双年展：少一些美学，多一些伦理”策划了四个“特别项目”：让·普鲁维、让·曼内瓦尔、和平馆与空间建筑以及当代艺术分展区。1985年与马西米利亚诺·福克萨斯并肩奋斗，1997年起担任福克萨斯建筑设计事务所总监。2002年，多莉安娜获授“法国艺术和文学勋章军官勋位”，2006年获授“欧洲城市土地用地协会杰出奖”，2012年在意大利米兰新展馆举办的新贸易博览会获得一等奖，2012年在华盛顿特区获得墙纸*设计大奖，其设计项目意大利罗马欧洲新会议中心获得“英国伦敦最佳建筑奖”，2013年获授“法国艺术和文学勋章司令勋位”。同年，其设计项目深圳宝安国际机场T3航站楼荣获中国深圳最佳交通空间奖“艾特奖”。
2014年至2015年，为意大利报纸《共和报》撰写设计专栏。自2020年1月1日起，多莉安娜·福克萨斯享有“法国荣誉军团”称号。
